The key goals of SHBBVP are to:
- develop, implement and evaluate comprehensive state-wide policy and plans in collaboration with key stakeholders
- improve the quality of evaluation and information systems, including data collection, analysis and dissemination
- build the capacity of the health and non-health workforce to address STI/HIV/BBV prevention and control
- increase access to prevention and treatment services
- raise the profile of sexual health and BBV issues to internal and external stakeholders.
